As well as meeting twice monthly socially, Barry Round Table runs a number of events in our community. All money we raise is distributed to good causes each year.
Barry Santa Sleigh
It wouldn't be Christmas without the Barry Santa Sleigh. A fixture in the festive calendar for over 50 years, our member take Santa around town spreading festive cheer and supporting local good causes.
Now in its 7th year, our Older Persons Dinner is held each December at Jenner Park. It's an opportunity for us to bring together local older people for an afternoon of food, music and festive cheer.
Working with partners including the Vale Youth Service, our members organise an annual day out for local children. We've previously taken up to 100 young people to Llangranog and West Midlands Safari Park.
Currently on hold, we've run two Barry Beer Festivals in the past, bringing people together to celebrate local beer, gin, cider and music, whilst supporting local good causes.
Who doesn't love a good BBQ? Our team can be seen at many local events cooking up burgers, hot dogs and more, with all money raised being distributed to local good causes.
Barry Round Table is a chartered member of Round Table Great Britain & Ireland. Round Table is open to everyone ages 18-45 who identifies as being, or lives as male.
